What are some quotes from films or TV that you use in your daily life? I tend to use quite a few without even thinking about it. Maybe some that are not the obvious ones like "Scorchio", "I'll be back", etc.

I'll start:

When having a whole cake with family or friends (usually birthdays) I tend to say "Make sure that everybody sees the cake before we cut it". -Hyman Roth, Godfather II (1974)

When telling someone to drive faster I often say "Faster! Evinrude, Faster!" -The Rescuers (1977)

When someone is rambling on about something only they care about I usually let them go on for about a minute or so, pretending I'm really interested not saying a word,my go to stfu line is John has a long moustache! Usually the person is so involved with their own monologue they just ramble on but I feel comforted knowing I at least tried to get a fkn word in.

Still in Brighton
Will often use:

- "Funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you?" (if someone ever says anything like you're funny to me. One of the best scenes from any movie of course, Goodfellas). Some people occasionally get it.

- Will often say "We're in the pipe, 5 by 5" when setting off on a journey or after getting on a bus. Anyone I'm with with always say wha? though. (Aliens, of course).

- I'll always ask if "Cream of Sum Yung Gai" is on the menu at any Works meal out if it's any type of oriental food. (Wayne's World).

- "cool beans" in it's various formats, from Hot Rod, often gets a use too.

All for my own amusement, often said under my breath.

Driving fast on the motorway I often say stuff like "Stay on target!", "Almost there...!" or "ready to jump to lightspeed!" obviously from the Original Star Wars.
