Karate Kid: Legends

I'm a bit of a sucker for the old Rocky format and this one delivers that kind of predictable punch in a fun 90 minutes.

I went with Oscar Jr who has never seen Karate Kid nor Cobra Kai and he enjoyed it, even without the nostalgia (karate) kick of seeing Ralph Macchio back again and some other such treats.

Decent performances by the young cast, a slightly jarring MTV style at times but worth a watch.

Oh, and if you see it at an Odeon, make sure you ask for your free Miyagi-Do headband (they really do have them). Handy for painting the fence and waxing the car at home.

BONSAI!

West is BEST
Watching John Wick Is Pain.

It’s a full length film all about how the franchise came together.

I did stunt and action work for 15 yrs, so this is right up my alley.

A lot the team all met on The Matrix, which I knew but didn’t knew their stunt crew and directors go back as far as The Crow and Bloodsport movies.

If you’re into stunts, this is the bomb.

The JW director, Chad Stahelski is in charge of the Highlander reboot. He’s going to smash that.

He trained with Brandon Lee and Tiger Chen. Did all the Matrix stunts. Directed all the John Wick films.
So could be something very special.

Cinema tonight to see MI: Final Reckoning. Looking forward to it but 2.5 hrs.
Sheesh!
