...but you would say that, you are his mate. What irritated me even more about this bloke was that he was laughing his head off afterwards. You keep saying that this bloke only said one thing about Danny Cullip, this is simply not true, the bloke that attacked him and his mates were getting increasingly angry as the match went on with cullip haters stupidity.

The thing is Dwayne I am intrigued to know which person you think I am in this whole incident. As said it was something that was over in seconds and the people involved had settled their differences at the start of the second half. Also you would be lying if you said that you have never laid into players during a poor performance.

I was gonna say something to him. I've seen him before at Coventry and a few other games, he's wildly annoying, he wasn't just slapped for commenting on Cullip, it was his general twattishness, and managing to annoy everyone around with his inane take on comedy.

Of course you were Dwayne...so just where were you to witness all of this? Tell me which part of the ground this all took place in.

The reason I ask is because I was with the guy in question-not the 40 something guy looking for a fight. I was the one trying to keep the peace by keeping the guy looking for a fight away from the person I was with.

Just for the record (and to aid Dwaynes recollection of what actually happened) the 40 something guy would not let matters drop. The criticism of Cullip stopped after threats were made and attempts to start a fight were subdued after a couple of half hearted attempts to get to my friend- but despite this the guy returned for the 2nd half with a cup of coffee and a desire to start a fight. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and things quietened down for the second half.

He also didn't get slapped at all-at least he didn't during the 90+ minutes I was near him so I don't know where your idea of what happened came from Dwayne? Absolute proof positive that you are talking bollocks.

I don't know how he could see that considering he was a few steps in front of my friend with other people (and a crash barrier) between them so unless he is a mutant with eyes in the back of his head he wouldn't have seen or heard anything. I know because I couldn't see or hear sniggering and the person looking for a fight was directly in front of me. DIRECTLY in front of me Dwayne and he was watching the game for most of the time.

crash barrier is at waist height, so that's a silly argument and him and his m8s were eyeballing the bloke for quite a while afterwards. I moved at half time partly because my mate "beeney's gloves" who posts on this site, was pissed off with the mouthy bloke, and having to listen to his drivel.

Going back to the title of this thread "FIGHT in the Albion end today".

It would appear that there was no fight, just a couple of people having a heated, if aggressive, exchange of opinions.

I hope you are not sensationalising things again young Dwayne, otherwise it will be detention for you

That fight was weird.

I commented a few minutes earlier about how annoying the bloke was because his loud jokes were just not funny to me, then some other bloke obviously took umbrage and waded in with his fists, couple of punches thrown but it was all over very quickly, we were just behind them, could see everything and there were lots of mutterings from both parties afterwards, livened up the first half anyway!

Yes you did Dwayne-there were NO punches thrown. I don't know what constitutes a punch in your world but to me it is a clenched fist aimed at another person. Seeing as how as I was between the two parties for the whole game (keeping them apart a couple of times) I think I'd have noticed a punch or punches whizzing by my head. The aggressor's arms were high as he was trying to get by me but at no time did he throw a punch.

Let me repeat-there were NO PUNCHES thrown at any time during or after the game. There were very heated words exchanged, an attempt or two to get to the person being critical of Cullip, a gathering of some Stone Island boys but NO fight, NO punches thrown and NO physical contact.

If you wish to keep this ridiculous thread going-fine! I'm bored with it.
