Couldn't care less who wins but, you know, I like watching football so I daresay I'll watch a fair few games. I'm not paying for it and I'm pretty sure the illegal streams I'll be watching won't be included in the viewing figures so what's the harm?

By far the most interesting part of this tournament for us is that club Leon war barred from competing after qualifying as they had not complied with multi club ownership rules...

I see this tournament run for a month, how seriously are clubs taking it? Are they sending full strength teams?

The Club World Cup is football's answer to cricket's Hundred. It has Saudi written all over it. When Blatter, of all people, says Saudi Arabia has taken control of international football, you know there is a problem.

I was all on board, until I saw the toxic waters beneath. I'll stick with the cricket.

I think they have to if I remember correctly. Think it's a condition of being invited to take part that they have to have a certain percentage of 1st team players?
Given it ends in the middle of July, the players of any clubs which get to the latter stages won’t have any time off until pre-season. I know this is the same for international tournaments but the difference is this might impacts just a handful of a club’s players…..this will be the entire team.
