Ignoring the fact that they gave f***ed up with the brighton team.

Is it worth getting? Is the gameplay any good?

I like it, although I seem to be in the minority.
I have mastered the free kicks now and can score some blinders!

On the whole the game is good.

Game comes out on Frday. Free kicks mastered by Monday.

That, in a nutshell, is why it's f**king shite.

I was looking forward to seeing Brighton in FIFA 2004. But since EA have fcked it up, and for some reason have taken away the edit/create teams/players function, I'm going to pass on EA for a second year running.

Last year I got This Is Football 2003 which is a very good game (it has got Brighton in it, and you can edit/create teams/players). I have to decide between PE3 and TIF 2004. But PE3 doesn't have lower divisions and promotion/relegation in it, does it?

Doe PES3 have enough new/improved stuff to be worth buying if I've already got PES2?

The good thing about PES is that it is actually pretty hard to play and therefore a challenge to try to master (unlike FIFA), I still can't take good free kicks after months (though I did hit the woodwork once).

PES3 is far superior to PES2, simply based on the fact that I really didn't get into 2, but can't stop playing 3.

Wozza has hit the nail on the head about FIFA - scoring quality goals is far too easy. You'll score many more "realistic" goals on PES, had some quality goalmouth scrambles.

You can put the Albion on PES3 anyway. And if you want all of Div2, then in a day you could probably program the whole lot in..

Quite enjoy playing it really but then I hardly ever have the time to play on the xbox and it hasn't got pes3 anyway. Love the fact that Charlie (spelt Charly) Oatway has got a ponytail!!

There is promotion, relegation in the master league on PE3, although relegated teams go into play offs with the top two from the next division down. if that makes any sense

and as for Fifa, the last game i got from them was FIFA 2000 and constantly came out with ridiculous scorelines like 5-7 every game, and every goal tediously similar to the one i scored a minute before.
