What a girl!:

Few women have undergone as startling a public transformation as Abi Titmuss. While ex-boyfriend John Leslie fought rape allegations (all charges were subsequently dropped), Abi, then a full-time nurse, was portrayed as the quiet girlfriend, loyally standing by her man. Then ex-basketball pro Jason Blayde (no, we'd never heard of him either) sold his story of drug-fuelled, girlfriend-swapping orgies and her reputation was transformed overnight. Stung by the revelations, Abi then sold the News Of The World her side of the story, owning up to a gloriously racy love life that included saucy home videos and cavorting with other ladies to please her man. What a woman!
And then, as Leslie's career appeared to go into freefall, Abi's took off. First there was a brief, but much publicised, promotional stint for soft-porn channel Television X, then the TV and theatre scripts started to arrive, and now she's in the process of filming her very own Channel 4 documentary What Abi Did Next. Throw in the tabloids' increasing interest in both her and her ever more revealing outfits, and it was clearly time FHM got on the blower to secure her first ever mens' magazine shoot.
What we didn't expect was the sheer sauciness of the pictures. "Yeah, I got quite excited," laughs Abi. "I got as horny as hell doing it. I'm a bit of an exhibitionist so I loved it." With her nurse's uniform now hung up for good, Abi is emerging from the shadows of her randy, and unnaturally tall, ex and launching her own showbiz career. And, judging by the confident, flirtatious girl that FHM encounters she's loving every minute of it...

You've gone from being a full-time nurse to a tabloid favourite. Is it weird being recognised in public?
It is, but I'm kind of used to it now. It's been a baptism of fire, though. But the positives I'm now getting out of it I absolutely love. Of course I want to be rich and famous, who wouldn't?

How hard was it to confess all to the News Of The World?
Doing that interview was the most difficult thing I've had to do in my life. The most difficult thing was that the people interviewing me had seen pictures of me, in a hotel room with John, in various poses. But intimate, explicit, private pictures that boyfriends take of their girlfriends. They'd poured over them and I had to talk about them in detail and I felt absolutely degraded and violated.

So was it really worth doing it?
Yes, because I could not let the person that sold the story be the last thing on record about me. People just would have remembered the word orgy and me, so I had to do something about it. Also I wanted to take some stick off John, they were saying he was depraved and I wanted to say I was a willing participant, so it's not fair that he should take all the stick.

Are you two still an item?
I don't want to say. I'm not here to talk about John. I know you have to ask, but I'm not going to talk about that, it's not fair on John.

Fair enough. How did your mum react to the News Of The World revelations?
She was shocked and upset, because it seemed that everything was over for me. But my mum's really cool. I've never been an angel, so anything I do is never that much of a shock to her.

Did she ask if you'd really done all those things?
A little bit, yes. And I told her the truth. I had to either hide in Australia or tell the truth and be really honest. And I am a racy blonde bird at times!

Amen to that. Are you worried about your home videos appearing on the net?
No, because the pictures that were stolen were stills that had been downloaded from videos onto a memory stick, so there is no video. There are plenty of videos in the drawer at home, but that's where they're staying!

So how many videos would you say you've you got?
Are you talking personal? A few, but let's stop there.

Okay. Did the police come after you about the claims that you bought cocaine?
I don't want to talk about that, but suffice to say there were no repercussions.

Were you annoyed when you found out you'd been sacked from your reporting job on Richard And Judy?
They didn't sack me, they just distanced themselves from me. I never had a contract, so they just said we can't use you at the moment, which I understood. But before my story came out there was just one story and on the back of his [Jason Blayde's] version it was like, "We can't use you," so I was a bit disappointed.

Did Television X really pay you £150,000 for promoting their spring schedule?
No, but it was enough. It was more than a nurse's wage! I kept my clothes on at all times and just did a few links to camera and that was it. But I have no problem about promoting a bit of sex. There's nothing wrong with a bit of porn, I'm all for that.

Good for you. Do men always talk to your breasts?
He says with his eyes staring me in the eye, ha ha! I think men tend to go over the top to avoid doing it, but even women stare at my breasts when I wear a low-cut top. Sometimes friends say, "For God's sake Abi, would you cover them up a bit!" It is a distracting chest, but the puppies don't come out that often, ha ha!

They did in our shoot!
They certainly did - but you're special.

Thank you. You seemed to enjoy posing for the shoot though...
Yeah, it's a sexy thing to do. I love posing, because I hate being the centre of attention, ha ha! I'm such a prude. I bought the stockings off the stylist afterwards. If they hadn't have put me in stockings I was going to ask for them, because they're my favourite piece of underwear.

Were you surprised to feature in FHM's 100 Sexiest list?
Yeah, I was over the moon about that. Really, really chuffed. But how many times could my mother vote? Ha ha!

You used to be a nurse - do you ever wear your uniform in bed?
Yes, one of the very few perks of being a nurse is that you get the uniform and I think most nurses have done that. All of my nurse friends were pretty rampant; it's work hard, play hard!

What's your wildest nursing story?
When I was at university the majority of the students were women and by the end of the three years I'd say half of them had experimented with their feminine side. Everyone was snogging everyone else.

Marvellous. Did that include you?
No, I was a late developer in that area. But it's fun - kissing girls is lovely. You don't get stubble rash for a start. But I'm definitely a man's woman, I've never kissed a girl on my own, it's always for a boyfriend. That's the fun of it. I think I was born to perform and it turns me on if it turns him on.

Fantastic! What's been the sexiest experience of your life?
Meeting you.

Don't take the piss!
No, I can't tell you, it's too rude. I'd love to tell you, and you'd absolutely love it, but it's too rude.

Give us a clue...
No, I can't. It's just too rude. I've done lots of sexy things, but I couldn't pick one. Like everyone knows I've had threesomes of various kinds, ha ha! And I knew someone was secretly watching me once and that was very sexy.

But would you recommend threesomes?
Yes, as long as everyone's happy. They're great as long as you're not pressured and you're both secure in your relationship. But I've never done swapping round sexual partners, it's just me having a bit of fun and performing for a guy. It's not about him having sex with the girl, it's about me and the girl. I'm giving him enough - he's not getting that as well ha ha!

You're planning your dream orgy - which five people would you invite?
Right... I'd have Robbie Williams, Jude Law, the singer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers (Anthony Kiedis). Then I'd go for Britney Spears and Jenna Jameson, because she sounds like fun.

Blimey! What's your favourite sex tip?
I think watching a bit of porn is great for lighting the spark again. And for a man to a woman - just make her feel really sexy. Be really comforting and then call her a bitch, ha ha!

Saucy home videos, cavorting naked with other ladies... are you the perfect girlfriend?
Well, I'm very loyal, I want to support myself and do my own thing, and I'm up for anything...
I think I probably am, yes.
