Eh? I don't think I heard anything but praise for him on here and at the ground when he played. A premiership side came in with a very fair price for him, he wanted to better himself and there's not much we could do to stop it. No point keeping a player who wanted away and if we get a reputation for refusing players the chance to progress their career then we make problems for ourselves later on.
He still likes us and anyone who was at the Spurs game earlier this season will know we still love him. I'm struggling to see where all the anger from the OP comes from.
He probably knew what the tranfer policy of the club was going to be this season. How much did we invest in his fee ? Football is a short career,i'm sure he's geting payed more now than he was here and playing in the league we were all hoping to be in this season. Who else would have made a different decision FFS
