i read it on holiday, its a damn good book, anyone else here read it, and what did you think of it?

i aint seen the film,the film probably is worse, the book is quite good if you ignore the arsenal connection

Recommend the book Redland, it's miles better than the film.

Rather than just one glory season as the film covers, it's all about him growing up and basically growing into becoming an Arsenal fan, and how life just seems to happen around it, how you know when things happen, because of such and such a game.

Excellent read.

Film's crap. Book is excellent.

It's especially poignant for me as I'm pretty much the same age as Hornby (he's just four months younger) so when he describes how he feels in a particular year, I can really identify with him.
