I've never seen it, is it worth watching then?

I've never seen the Goonies either much to the surprise of almost everyone when the subject comes up.

Yes The Goonies, really don't fancy that one at all, but you're like a genuine Mancunian at Old Trafford on a matchday if you haven't seen and don't rave about that film!

You heartless wench!!
You're my hero
Bueller . . . . bueller

There are better quotes but these must have come out of my mouth at least 250 times each since I watched it. Whether you have to be a certain age to let it seep into your soul and stay there is another matter.

Great film, seen it countless times. Was on last week.

Cameron: The 1961 Ferrari 250GT California. Less than a hundred were made. My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love, it is his passion.

Ferris: It is his fault he didn't lock the garage.

I don't put any stock in it but there was a sort of geek film theory that Bueller was a figment of Cameron's imagination Fight Club style. Interesting but doubt that was intended, the film is what it is, very funny.

I'm determined to go to my grave having not seen Top Gun, solely to wind up everyone who has seen it who says I MUST see it.

I just don't want to!

I haven't seen The Goonies either, from seeing clips of it I'm guessing it's one of those films you have to have seen as a child otherwise it will just be rubbish.

Two more films that fall into that category:

Labyrinth - saw it as a kid, love it.
The Princess Bride - didn't see it as a kid, not fussed about it at all.

This may be an unpopular point of view, but I have to say it: love the film, hate Bueller. If he were real, he'd be an investment banker now.

I get what you mean. He is a bit of a smarmy tit.

I have definitely not seen FBDO, the Goonies or Top Gun, however I am entirely useless at films and often forget films I have seen, whether they were any good or not.

Exactly! I have always said that, you like the film, but it would have been so much better if Bueller wasnt such a douche.

There is nothing cool about him, just smarmy.

Marty McFly on the other hand is as cool as ****.
