Albion's under-21s lost 2-1 to their Derby counterparts at St George’s Park tonight.
A strong Rams side, which featured experienced first team players Johnny Russell, Stephen Warnock and Raul Albentosa, led 2-0 at the break against interim coach Simon Rusk's side after goals by Callum Guy and Kwame Thomas.
Shamir Fenelon struck for the Seagulls with ten minutes to go.
