So only someone with a good looking girlfriend is allowed to suggest Fearne Cotton (in this case) is ugly? Why do you need to have that validation? Everyone's allowed an opinion.
Some of the comments about her in this thread have been HARSH, but there are quite a lot that I agree with...

If your calling her ugly then surely the people who are calling her ugly must have stunning wives/girlfriends that they are comparing her to? I agree with your point about everyone being allowed an opinion hence why I'm fighting my corner here because people are questioning my taste in women because I think she is fit.

I wouldn't have a go at you for fighting your corner, I just don't think you should take everything so personally. I'm BESOTTED with Kristen Stewart (

Or simply have different ideas of beauty. For me, a woman who smokes is unattractive. I can think, 'cor, she's gorgeous' then she pulls out a cigarette and suddenly she can turn into 'no thanks'. For some people it's small breasts, for others it's large breasts, for some it's blonde hair, for other's it's brunettes, for some it's women drinking pints, for others it's women dressing provocatively.
It isn't about actually having someone different to compare her too, it's about having different standards of beauty, different preferences, different tastes.
