Saw the FDM in envy in churchill square today buying a new pair of rather snazzy brown boots

Gongratulated him on his save and he went all shy ! What a nice man.

MK - My Hero !! :clap2:

I've met him a couple of times and both times he was very self-depreciating. He made a point of saying how good the whole team is and that he is always only trying to do his job to the best of his abilities.

Really nice guy, had plenty of time for fans and was happy to talk at length about the team. Cracking missus too!

i meet the fdm once aswell at bris heart foundation in lewes supporting itwith boby z! gt my pictur tkenwit him aswell:clap2:

Let's face it, the best footballers are those that do their stuff by pure instinct. FDM could be up there with Gordon Banks - but posessing such instinct is something they should only feel lucky about, so modesty is the only ticket.

For those reasons I can't stand players that get arrogant like that argie scumbag marradonna, and love the likes of Banks and Pele.

On a similar note, why would anyone trust collymore ? He deserves to be shunned by all of football .

Can only back up what is said above. Was chatting (briefly) to Kuipers before the Yeovil friendly and he is a top bloke, which is probably as much of a factor in his popularity as his goalkeeping abilities.

 We love FDM

i met him once , he parked in the disabled bay up asda !

The FDM is a top bloke! I once got him to sign a photograph of Hart's Shirt and Will Packham in conversation with each other.

You'll have to have been an NSC User for at least two years to understand what that was all about.

Interestingly, the FDM himself didn't need an explanation!

I got his autograph at Port Vale, the final game of our division 2 championship season.

We couldn't get tickets so Ned treated me to the hospitality and after the game the players came into the bar.

Lovely man.
