So, what was the verdict?

vBulletin only allows for 100 character poll answers, so 2 and 3 are respectively:

2. Nothing happened, but only because of the extensive police and stewarding organised by 'Friend of the fans' Richard Hebberd.

3. Nothing happened, but it was never going to. It's an absolute disgrace that more FCUM fans weren't able to enjoy the day with their 'credit-to-the-game' chums.

Two gentlemen accosted me by the traffic lights in Queens Road (they saw my scarf) and demanded of me to show them the way to the Evening Star. I felt quite intimidated by their friendliness.

Such a shame really, FC would of sold 3000 tickets easily today, full house, quids in for everyone, why most of us came to FC in the first place.

I suppose one could argue the Police are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't but it did seem to go without incident.

We've all been at games where there has been tension in the air, where it feels like something is simmering waiting to boil over and where without steward and police intervention, it could all kick off. Was today one of those?

Yes and when I say yes, I mean no.

Total overreaction. I bought my ticket this morning. Do we normally have two stewards in the club shop? I'm struggling to understand the 'intelligence' they received.

Absolutely not.

My understanding was they weren't given a very good write up after the Rochdale match but bearing in mind it was the biggest game of their history (until next week anyway) it does make us look a bit small time in not being able to cope with another 400 of them.

Surely not another over reaction from the Sussex Constabulary?

Bearing in mind clubs only pay for Policeman at the ground, with the cuts about to happen I fancy restrictions on away fans might become more common.

I'm sure Hebbard and his mates had a great day today. I'm sure he will enjoy even more the report to the FA on Monday about how FCUM fans failed to sit down. I hope this message is presented as the views of out ridiculous stewards and absolutely nothing to do with Brighton and Hove Albion. Frankly, FCUM were a credit to football today and any hoopla suggesting otherwise (which frankly I expect from hebbard and his gang of thugs) should be treated with disdain,

Perhaps the restriction on FCUM fans was due to a fire risk, as there were not enough of Hebberd's highly trained stewards to piss on the FCUM fans if they were on fire.

The most curious thing..
I was quivering in my chair in front of the PC all afternoon from 200 miles away - except for the bit when I went out to rake up some leaves. Then I felt well'ard because I was tooled up with a rake.
