Just incase it hasn't been confirmed, I spoke to someone inside the club today and they told me that this was the first Catergory C game since we played Crystal Palace at home in 2005. No joke, sadly.

Today was ask by landlord of the pub we use pre-match if I was going saturday, told him yes, he said it will regulars only (ie doors locked) on POLICE advise. Also said will be biggest police presence for over two years.

Just incase nobody has read it. This is direct from the club.

FCUM tickets

Following a specially convened meeting of the Safety Adivsory Group, the club allocated FC United of Manchester, the West Stand, being the designated away area at Withdean .

This is an allocation of just over 10% and is the same number of tickets allocated to Woking in round one

We are aware that FC United do have a potentially large away following, but the recommendation from the SAG (endorsed by the Football Licensing Authority and police) was to allocate just the away end for this match - which incidentally is the first category C match at Withdean for more than five years

The Football Association have been advised of the intended ticketing allocation for this match, and FC United have also been advised.

Hoping not to stir anything up but i though Withdean's capacity was 8,850 so how is 845 over 10% of the capacity?

We are not going to boycott. Ticket sales are ongoing as we speak. However I think a lot of FC fans have been put off by all the negativity towards this fixture. Also many FC fans have not bothered travelling to the match very early as they feel they have no hope in getting a ticket. Despite this we are looking forward to the game and hope to mingle with your supporters amicably as we do will all clubs.
We are however bemused that we have been made a category C club without having any previous form. Though we know enough about how the police work and we wouldn't want them to miss out on some very easy overtime before xmas.Good luck today. Hope you get promotion and rest a few of your best players against us.

At least try and be original, it'll be a cancelled rest day yet again for many, fat chance of Sussex Police paying anyone any overtime for the next few years in this current climate.

A dozen or so fans spilled onto the pitch when we scored the first goal. Hundreds went on the pitch at full time to celebrate with the players, putting them on their shoulders etc. It was our cup final. We had over 4,000 there.
There were about 6 flares and about 10 smoke grenades in the stand throughout the match and a ''Your sister is your mother'' chant towards Dale fans.

Very much so worthy of Cat C?

Wow, give it a fuckin' rest. You've never seen our core support.

I don't think it's been mentioned that many Man United lads were amongst our support at Rochdale latching on for the camera's. This isn't an excuse to lay the blame but those that got excited and ran on the pitch when we scored were not regular FC IMO.

We're not a threat and we don't cause trouble.

Our core support, with the ST's and Membership are the driving force behind the club.

Makin' friends, not millionaires.

They may not have been your core fans but they broke the rules whilst representing your team, get over yourselves ffs you are nothing special and unlike man united you will recieve no special treatment for having United and Manchester in your name. If you cannot control your own fans then the authorities will take action against you and all the moaning whining and bitching about it is only making your club as a whole look more and more ridiculous.

I can honestly say that I have NEVER encountered such arrogance from opposition fans which says something when you consider the company we have had in the league on the past few seasons!

Mate. BHAFC supporters are your natural allies in the grand scheme of things. But the attitude of your fans towards this tie is not making you any friends. You seem a reasonable sort. Could you maybe ask them to stop alienating people who otherwise believe in your cause?
