1974 was not a great tournament overall, but it did have the wonderful Dutch side led by Johann Cruyff which played football in a way that no-one in England had really seen before. The West German side was not bad either. And it did have just about the only ever thuggish Brazilian team as a bonus.

Cheers for that. A wonderful goal. Remember watching it with my brother at my sister's house while she was on holiday.We both jumped up and spilt beer all over the sofa. She came back an hour after the game and we'd managed to clean it up using a cloth and a hairdryer to get rid of the stain. Funny the things that stick in your mind.
