I've just discovered a beauty that goes by the name of the Bee's Mouth. Usurped my previous favourite, The Lion and Lobster.

Any gems out there that I have appeared to miss?

Its a toughie BoF, for great roasts I'd say The Great Eastern, for giant roasts The Foundry. For beer it would have to be The Evening Star or The Hanover. For a great allrounder The Basketmakers or The Greys..... its all subjective

I was going to do a similar thread the other day and my answer was going to be the Lion and Lobster.

Where's the Bee's Mouth?

I didn't realise you'd been roasted in so many places.

I tend to find the best pubs tend to be prefixed by " The "

Always felt Hanover was really spoilt for good pubs - Dover Castle, the Sir Charles Napier, Pub with no Name, Greys and the Constant Service. I'd go for the Constant Service - food and drink perfect on a lazy Sunday afternoon

You've just named two of Brighton's best boozers. Congrats BoF

Agree. Big Tom's roasts are legendary.
