I imagine the people who voted SR as the greatest film ever made have very narrow tastes. While entertaining enough it's too schmaltzy for my tastes. And the ending plays fast and loose with the laws of physics.

"The Quare Fellow" film based on Brendan Behan play and starring Patrick McGoohan set in Dublin gaol bit deep but very realistic.
enjoyed many of the others mentioned
