Cute though and that voice - sigh! Perhaps you mean a poor woman's Sinatra - I am a bit skint at the mo.

Just joshing, what he does he does well. Not for me though.

You are one of the posters that educated me into listening to the Wedding Present, thanks.

Pleased to hear it. If you have a chance get down to their annual festival at Concorde 2. It normally takes place August Bank Holiday Weekend with two Wedding Present sets and a host of support bands.

Sune Rose Wagner from the Raveonettes for me. His ability to look like a tramp while his sidekick Sharon Foo looks glamorous as **** playing bass and being disinterested while wondering why her sidekick can't wash and look a bit more interested is one of the joys of watching the Raveonettes.

Steve Knightley deserves a mention - saw then live on Wednesday.

Saw them on Thursday in Worthing as ever they were brilliant but Mr Knightly's voice was well rough because was getting over a cold. However, Phil Beer was on tops form, looking forward to seeing the PBB at the Ropetackle next year.

Glad that I am not the only SOH fan on here! Nice that they were giving Miranda Sykes an opportunity to showcase her singing. Did you see them a couple of years ago with Richard Shindell as support, he was pretty amazing imho and it was an excellent evening.
