Just chatting with my bro, post piss up, reminiscing about last season at the AMEX. Talking about what our favourite game was. For me it was Leeds. It had everything. There were some great games & this thread has probably been done but come on its Been 2 months since we were at the AMEX. What was your favourite game last season for whatever reason

Doncaster was the best all round day, Leeds most entertaining but my favourite was probably Ipswich as the atmosphere was fantastic, helped by the banner :)

1 - Donny - my old man flew over from the US for the game and we still talk about it to this day
2 - Leeds - a better game than Donny but without the happy ending
3 - Any from Burnley, Stains, Newcastle, Ipswich for combination of atmosphere, result, incident etc

For pure entertainment - Leeds
For atmosphere - Doncaster and Burnley, for different reasons!
For pure satisfaction and boasting rights at work - Soton
Best team performance - Derby, and that 'Vicente' moment.
So a mixture really!

I think the Saints game for the match, but I will always remember the atmosphere against Burnley. The noise was deafening and absolutely the best last season.

Burnley was superb, despite the defeat. If CMS had put that chance away at the end the roof would have come off!

I think Doncaster for the occasion although I watched the whole game back on DVD and apart from the last 10 minutes it was largely forgettable. As far as games go I would say Southampton.

I think if he had scored with his chance bout 10 mins prior to that when we were long balling it to him we would have gone on to win, Burnley were that poor!

Excluding Donny as that is too obvious then I would go for Leeds as the atmosphere from both home and away fans was incredible. For me it was that game that really bought The Amex to life, something special about evening games compared to a Sat afternoon too.

Yep Doncaster, Leeds, Southampton and second half against Liverpool.....To be fair, everybody was just happy to be at the Amex finally, which largely overshadowed the fact there was a lot of very boring dull matches, well up until the last ten minutes anyway. I doubt people will be so patient this coming season.
