The Race Hill
Has to be that 7 minute (or whatever) scene in Blue is the Warmest Colour.

Great 'coming of age' movie, and what a scene. Odd seeing her as the girl in the latest Bond movie.

Zulu - the scene where they hear the Zulus for the first time, but mistake it for a train in the distance. V v atmospheric.

1) Harry Lime in the shadowed doorway in the Third Man. Wonderful film, atmospheric setting and soundtrack and the brooding genius of Orson Welles.
2) Brief Encounter. The moment that Leslie Howard turns to Celia Johnson and says..." you know whats happened, don't you? "
3) Zulu. Standing amongst the burning embers, Michael Caine asks Stanley Baker how he coped with battle the first time.
4) Schindlers List. As he is saying farewell to the survivors, Schindler breaks down and torments himself that he didn't save more and the reaction around him.
5) Shawshank Redemption. The Rita Hayworth moment. Fabulous.
