Another useless bit of perhaps useless information: Dolly Parton asked him to record I will always love you and he agreed but said that he wanted 50% of the royalties for it. She refused, he didnt record it then, and since she wrote it she has received over $20m in royalties.

The original was complete flop and didnt sell so when it was given to Elvis he changed it about. Mark James also co wrote Always on my mind.
