Won't be a popular one on here but - Sir Alex. Living legend.

Probably my favourite Scottish team manager for the job he did at Aberdeen and the lack of an inferiority complex around the Old Firm.

You might think that, but what about poor 20 year old Sean O'Hara who was indiscrimantly FISTED by Clough?

Does fisting ability automatically make someone a legend?

No, and neither does his treatment of Justin Fashanu.

But managing Nottingham Forest to two successive European Cup wins, and the dynamism of his management style in his heyday, does.

The most curious thing..
Clough - all the others are pale imitations or also-rans - thread ceases.

I'll probably get negatively repped for this, but Malcolm Allison is one of my other faves!

Clough without a doubt. For all the failings, homophobia etc, brought success to two modest clubs who did little or nothing before and after, playing beautiful football most of the time. And, took off a player when Forest were, I think 3-0 up against Palace when he had no subs left to bring on. Classic.
