Did anyone else see the Fatboy Slim vs Armand Van Helden gig at the Brixton Academy back in 1999?

Absolutely f***ing ace.

To this day I haven't been able to track down a recording of it and if I could I would be happier than Kylie's pants

Fatboy Slim vs Armand Van Helden at Brixton Academy was amazing!! Wasn't it cancelled first time round cos of a bomb scare? Shit was it really 5 years ago...

They played individually, then came on together in full BOXING attire and played their tunes on either side of a boxing ring - fwipping bwilliant....

Here's hoping the Slim one comes down under soon....

Saw him at C2 a few weeks back.

He has definitely lost it. In recent times he's started being less experimental with his sets which is a bit of a shame. He used to throw all sorts in but he's playing loads of house at the moment.

The bes tI saw him was at the old concorde when it was live on the breezeblock on radio 1. HE DJ'ed then Lo-Fi allstars played live.

Top night, I was totally off my head but it was a quality gig. Fair few years ago now though.

I fell over that night and was caught by the lead singer of freakpower which at the time was a bit surreal.
