Let's do the flag on Saturday. Remember it made it's debut against Bournemouth in 2001 and we won.

Frankly we need all the luck we can get, and as the atmosphere is likely to be a bit flat (haha) this will get the crowd going a bit.

Unless it buckets down I reckon we should get it out before it gets all moth eaten!

Trouble is with the flag is that it HAS to go over at about 2.45pm for safety reasons and to be honest, even if we have enough helpers, there's hardly enough people in the stand to pass it over at that time.

We've managed to send it over for big games because more people arrive early. When the weather gets nicer that's easier too - again because more people arrive early.

I think a Spring airing is in order but Sat isn't the day IMHO.

That's a great idead, LPC... after all he is out of a job at the moment, and I'm sure he'd be keen to lend a hand. Anything for a bit of publicity!

I guess if it's raining he won't be too keen to get his nice suit grubby though!
