The British Cheese Awards were established in 1994 and each year since, experts from around the world judge around 750 British cheeses. The winners are then displayed at the British Cheese Festival sponsored by Food From Britain which this year takes place at Blenheim Palace on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September.
Every year the festival attracts thousands of cheeselovers from around the world, lured by some 1,000 British cheeses. There are tutored tastings to take, Britain’s Biggest Cheese market and a wide range of activities (as well as other foodstuffs) on offer including the Food From Britain Market, the chance to watch cheeses being made, the secrets of breadmaking revealed, words of wisdom from expert landscape gardener Pat Coillier and cheeses to toss.
This year the Festival’s location is a fascinating attraction in itself. Beautiful Blenheim Palace is set against the rolling hills, rich architectural history and of course Oxfordshire and Oxford. So we are delighted to be able to offer three pairs of tickets to three discerning winners.
