However they may go out of business.

Nah, AFC Wimbledon get decent crowds by non-league standards.

:thumbsup:

Personally, I wasn't amused by Saturday's events. For a start, I'd much rather go to Leeds than Hull. And then there's the fact that our record against Leeds in recent years is superb, while our record against Hull is rubbish.

We've shot ourselves in the foot.

Seems as though Cardiff fans and Albion fans want to play Leeds for the guaranteed minimum 4 points:lolol:

LB - listen to On the Ropes on Radio 4 Listen Again - Ridsdale puts the start of their demise at that Cup match at Ninian Park - it started a run of eight weeks without a win for them.

Ridsdale came over well - but blames everyone else - managers, fellow-directors, subsequent boards ................... I wouldn't trust him near my Club.

i dont see why attilla should pay now but.....pay up he should

he took the bet on.he pledged 500 quid of his OWN money but is now going back on it and suggesting he will do a FUND RAISER to put 500 quid of OUR MONEY behind the bar to buy drinks to celebrate an event that has nothing to do with his bet.

500 quid is a small price to pay to save your soul.

PAY UP WHEN THE BET IS LOST OR BE A GUTLESS BIG MOUTH FOR EVER.

go on sell one of those sex pistol albums you have put by for yor pension. be a man.

IF.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

THIS bit is the most relevant

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Aww great, the Bluebird is back.

The Bluebird never went away.

So whose club is my old mate the morally-superior superfan helping to save this week?

I hear Leeds are in trouble......

How's the back LB?

Splendid, thank you. No problem at all now. The operation was a complete success.

i know punk is "alternative" and "anti establishment" but a bet is a bet and only a cry baby with a materialistic streak would worry more about 500 measly quid than his self respect.

Really? My mistake..

I'm no mate of yours and I'm no morally-superior superfan either.. In fact mocking me for going to Wrexham and my being sympathetic towards AFC Wimbledon I thought was a tad harsh but hey, I'll deal with it..

Glad your in better health.
