That program used to be pure class in the mid nineties.
Thought it was still quite good last night, even if it just looks a bit......errr......older?

a stuttering start, but made me laugh at times after those last few minutes of the match. A big hello to Steven Gerrard WAS funny

That programme's always been hit'n'miss but it's funny most of the time. I think it's Monty Python compared with the overrated tired "whackiness" that is Soccer AM.

The "offended homosexual" reaction to Ally McCoist and the whole stadium seeming to cheer at Bobby Robson's pun made me laugh out loud.

I find it's another one of those programmes that used to be funny, but isn't anymore.
Apart from that, Top Gear was on at the same time on BBC2 anyway.

Agreed, the audience shouting are increasingly annoying, as is the habit of introducing every item by singing it to the theme tune.

Funny in places, but dating a bit. Hit and miss.

Mind you, I laugh every time I see that McDonalds ad when the bloke sings at the passing farm animals

"Same old sheep/Always bleating"

So who am I to judge? :lolol:

Terry Wogan on Top Gear was much funnier.

Trouble is I forgot it was on & missed the first 25 minutes.
2 minutes 4 seconds, just 2 seconds "quicker" than whitely. :D

and i defy anyone to have found the opening sketch funny.

I didn't really get it. I like filthy humour as much as the next person but it just seemed to be lewd without any real joke.

Maybe it was just Frank Skinner's fantasy to have sex with David Baddiel

The bit on American cars we don't want over here was good too........

Oh sorry, fantasy football league, I think I must have grown up since it was on first time round.
