we need more honesty in the game clubs putting out reserve teams when they dont actually say and publicise this, take Aldershot playing PortSCUMouth today, I wonder how many turned up expecting at least ine or two 1st teamers to play. Yes also the footbal authorities should clamp down on this riddiculous lets use 50 odd players for 90 mins ion a friendly its crazy. I think Albion are as guilty as many other clubs by not publicly stating that the type of team being put out is not the first team, ok with BHA you can argue they dont know their firt starting 11 yet anyweay and some would argue players that featured in the resrves last season are better than clowns like Oatway anyway.

I recall a game some seasons back when then playing at West Green Albion took on Crawley Town with their youth team when they had stated before first teammers would be among the footballers to be used. Its a rip off and the fans are the ones being taken for a ride.

For **** sake these are meaningless friendlies, so why cant they be played for charity without riddiculous profits made from well over the top prices. I see £8 for Lewes v Brighton and whilst I support the Lewes side wish them well and hope they retain the conference status £ 8 is over the top to see Albion reserves. A fiver wouldve been more than enough, you may say what the *** is an extra £3, but this is just the tip of the iceberg on football teams ripping the fans off. I havnt see an Albion friendly for years, have no intention of (unless its for charity reasonable prices they advertise the first team and the opposition interests me), Southend YAWN, Cambridge YAWN.

Why couldve we've got some foreign team to thrash, come on its just a short leap frog across the waters of the channel. We couldve rented out Crawleys ground for example theres no excuse re Withdean seats away golfing it. Short-sighted vision once again by the club. Like i say BHA arent alone in this unimaginative list of drawn up friendlies, ok manangers need to check teams out you can argue some guys are playing for places but its supposed to be team game and you cant tell me with swop team about constanly it works anyway.

Man Utd starting line-up last weekend against B Munich:

Carroll, Bardsley, McShane, Spector, Keane, Djemba-Djemba, Djordic (Jones), Richardson (Chadwick), Eagles (O'Shea), Smith, Bellion.

Not exactly what the 58,000+ had in mind when they paid up to $100+ for a ticket, I suspect. Keane even played in defence. That Ferguson is a complete pratt, I'm afraid. If he wanted to rest his stars he shouldn't have accepted the bloody invitation. I wonder how many kids' day he ruined that afternoon.

Oh, yeah, it was a terrible game to boot. Good to hear the yanks booing them at the end.

To be fair MM as said that it will be a reserve sqaud on Tuesday against Lewes.

The £8 Lewes are charging for the game on Tuesday is the same as the admission for their home pre-season games against Horsham, Ringmer and Aldershot. It comes with a voucher for half-price admission to the Aldershot game.

If you went to the Horsham or Ringmer games, you can get in for £4 on Tuesday.

I can't see why the Albion should get any stick for this.

When Kanu first signed for Arsenal, one of his first matches was for Arsenal reserves against Albion reserves. I could not find out where the match was being played. I think Bellotti was in charge then.
