There were 900 more at Withdean today than we got for the mid-August Saturday match last season (against Northampton).

Take into account 100 more away fans, the U21 offer and the "feel-good factor" of the first two results, and it's really not very impressive.

mmmmmmmmmmmm................taking also into account, that we have more u-21,s, we,ve got off to a flyer, the messiah has been brought back..........and not least, this is a team who finished one place outside the play-offs last year.....(compared to the abysmal finish the previous season), how do you think the Banks.......(who may or may not lend us the money for a new stadium) will view this 900 increase...?

They will probably not even consider it or even be aware as they will probably only look at figures over a given period of time not a one off game..

we were poor today. Didnt have any drive or shape to the team. Back 4 did a good job however no midfield. Their penalty decision was ropey but we needed to seal victory not sit on it.

They were nailed-on to score long before the penalty. We should be grateful for salvaging a barely-deserved point.

Thankyou for your reply BG..........and you may well be right. I was more wanting an answer..(or thoughts) from Lord Bracknell. He obviously has conversations with Dick Knight....(confirmed to me by his PM,s this evening about Dean Wilkins)........and coupled with his iconic status on this board, perhaps he knows so much more than most.

I am sure that you are aware that there are none so deaf or blind as those that want to be:shrug:
