I admit to phoning them to check that the "Liverpool game" would be shown.

I emailed the College Oak pub in Abingdon, just south of Oxford, to check too - gotta be done!

I will be there very soon with my lad in his BHA shirt; along with a Spurs mate, with his lad in a Spurs shirt... Unless they lose...

The Charles Dickens Pub, owned & run by scousers, could be interesting. Trouble is the locals will support Liverpool because they don't have a clue about football or would want to piss off the owners.
On the plus side it is a good pub & has a photo of the Chain Pier, Brighton (Palace or Brighton Pier, for the younger readers)
