if we are still in league one for our opening season at falmer what is the general opinion regarding average attendance over the course of the season.

I personally think around the 12mark altho if were challenging for promotion that will be more. If in the championship i think we can expect around 18,000-20,000

The division is less important than whether or not we have a winning team playing attractive football. You go as far back as 76/77 our typical crowds were in the mid 20ks to watch 3rd division football. In our last year in the top flight we got crowds of less than 15k - piss poor really. So it all depends. If we are looking good for promo, your 12k is probably an underestimate. Equally, if we're struggling in the championship, my guess is that it will be no more than 12k.

Also depends on how hard the Albion attempt to win back the missing generations (anyone under 35) who won't remember the Goldstone in any meaningful way.

The club need to price, encourage, attract youngsters in a way that they haven't in any meaningful way, moving forward
