Falmer Timeline

Just looking at the excellent Timeline which was in the Swindon prog. Stages 1 and 2 are I guess are done. After the excavation (stage 3), which has clearly started, will come the thrust wall bases - but what is a thrust wall base and what does it look like. Can't wait for the legendary Mr Straw to photograph one soon

Any builders out there enlighten me?
