a Risque idea i know but how about all three home dedicated stands be singing areas? ? Ive heard that lots of clubs do this and it helps the team perform, could be urban legend but one never knows.

When did NSC decide that singers should be confined to one stand?

With a roof to transmit noise around the whole stadium, I'd expect singing to catch on all over the place.

Northstand should be The Goldstone End , Southstand should be The Away Stand , East Stand should be The Dick Knight Stand and i dont know about the West Stand

We could call the West stand the Moanie old gits stand, like it was back in the Goldstone days.

Slightly off topic here, but will the club be allowed to use Falmer for reserve and youth team games like the Goldstone Ground was?
I ask this because I saw somewhere in the plans that the ground can only be used for something like thirty outdoor events each season. Would a reserve or youth game constitute an outdoor event considering the small amount of people that are likely to attend?

would be good if they had some of the reserve matches at the withdean, though of course that would lack a bar.

The specific condition in the planning permission for Falmer is this:-

26. The total number of Outdoor Events within the Stadium shall not exceed in
any period of 12 months 50 of which not more than two shall be music
concerts.

Any proposed events in addition to these shall be subject to the prior
written approval of the Local Planning Authority.

Ah, excellent, so we can have more concerts, we just have to ask the council nicely!

Thats so palarse fans can get out as quick as pos:D

Like we will get away quickly, we will be locked in for half an hour.

Mind you, thats if you get promoted to play us, or we are lucky enough to draw you in a cup.

Also, the chances are we will be given a bigger area to your usual away fans.

Thank you M'Lord.

So with at least league 23 matches classed as outdoor events in one season and with perhaps 30 with a cup run or two, then we should be able to play a few reserve and youth team games at Falmer.
I have taken into acount that the season spans over two different years, but I think we would play roughly the same amount of league games at home in one season as we would in one calendar year, albeit this would technically be in two football seasons.

I reckon any away crowd larger than 500 would be held up anyway to relieve pressure on the transport links.

Singing stand opposite the away stand. Please none of this chavs in tracksuits taunting away supporters and embarrasing the club a la Millwall and Cheltenham...

Football is all about winding up the other supporters, giving them some shit. I bet you are one of the replica shirt wearing-face painting goons who would politely applaud an away goel at Falmer.

I thought it was about your team scoring more GOALS than the opposition.

Dunno where the family stand will be but will try and have a word with the dads around me when it comes to choosing your seats so that we're all still together. Is it still going ahead with the site visit and choosing where you want to sit for existing STHs?

The family area will be the northern end of the east stand. All season ticket holders will be given first choice of their seating and will be able to choose to sit together. There may be 'hard hat' days where people can visit the stadium but that all depends on how the development is going forward.
