Falmer date

Stupid question, I know, but what is going on with the Falmer enquiry? Do we have any idea at all of when the final decision is going to be? I know this is probably an impossible question to answer and is going over old ground, but it's difficult to keep up to date living over here- when I'm at work and on NSC 99% of other users are asleep!

Cheers

I think I read somewhere once that they like to make these sort of announcements on a Friday (give's those who didn't get the decision in their favour the weekend to calm down apparently ???). So bearing that in mind how about Friday 28th October ??? ???

yeah but its a new law governed by the government to get all planning applications out by a certain date, if they dont then they are libel for prosecution and such like!

What ever the verdict is that it? Final, the end of the matter or can this be dragged out further?:falmerspi

well if he says No to Falmer then its either a straight Yes to another site (highly unlikely IMO) or a "Maybe another site would be better" and that'll be a right pain in the arse as we'd probably have to go via the Public Inquiry/Enquiry/Whatever all over again :(

I would love it to be on a Tuesday when we play Palarse on the 18th October, win 3-1 up there and get Falmer on that date, Would be the best day ever.

It could happen, Martin Perry said the other day that he expected the decision before October 31.

The inspector's report was delivered to Prescott two days ago.
