bluenose, you are of course right. That is why Bloom has a share option on the debt; it is effectively our collateral. I suspect that he will take what money he can reasonably get back from the club and convert the remainder to shareholdings in 2023.

If people read your post this thread would have ended by now..

excellent post. Thank you.

Depends on how well the travel plan and other matchday bits work... which is why it is importnat that fans don't dump their cars all over Falmer villiage and use the park and rides instead.

The stadium has allegedly been designed for expansion - as has been mentioned on here before. I believe that a 2nd tier could be added to the smaller stand and the corners could be filled in at one end - but that is entirely conjecture and hearsay.

I don't think there is an issue with expanding the actual stadium, although of course, permission would be required, I think it's more likely to be an issue with how you would safely transport another 7,000 odd supporters, and what that would mean for the number of trains/busses/car parking/health & safety - all that jazz.

But, I don't really have a damn clue, but seems logical to me.

2. As he appears to own 75% shares at present worth £18m then a further
£66m converted into shares wouldnt be a 90% share holding - it would be 99% or more!!

I'd imagine that the increased valuation of the club is to do with the fact that the business will at that time own a shiny new stadium, as preferred to his £18m share of a business which currently rents an athletics stadium and owns a couple of portakabins.
