Falmer Capacity

Before anyone mentions it, I am sure this has been asked before, but (and this may be wishful thinking) to what extent could the capacity at Falmer be increased, without moving the roof??

According to previous threads, if they completly encircle the pitch with a 2 tier stand, corners and all, the capicity would be between 27000 and 32000 depending on the realism of the thread you refer to.

I look foreward to 30,000 myself but i think, as has been pointed out, it's transport that will influence the planning approval.

27000 would be plus 5000 and 30000 would be plus 8000.

The corners aren't that big? + 8000 is an extra 30% almost.

Do you expect more then? I only quote some of the many answers given on here and that looks fairly resonable to me.

Seem to remember someone at the club saying that only 3 of the corners could be filled in as one would still be required as access for lorries/equipment etc. when other events are held there.

Make the pitch see through and have a stand underneath
