I'm disappointed to say I agree, it was a fair result. But that was the best we'd played for while and the midfield pairing of Woodhouse and Thompson (ex Palarse) deserved more from the game.
We were good for the first 5 minutes, and for a few minutes in the 2nd half when we turned up the volume.
Other than that all we could do was hoof it up for their defenders to collect. Keeping the ball on the floor and passing to feet were alien options for the majority of the game.
I've put my thought on the "official" thread. Thought mdifield was rubbish, but Knight, McPhee, Cullip, Butters and Mayo were all very good. We looked dangerous on attack and the last 20 minutes of the game was great (although nails are bitten down now).
agree that knight, mcphee and mayo played well. not so sure about butters and cullip though. marking was poor for both there goals. but that didnt help with watson getting skinned all the time.
