Don't think interview technique should be high on his list of priorities tbf.
He doesn't NEED to do anything. He can answer questions in whatever facking way he likes!Sorry but Fabian really needs to work on this. His pre and post match interviews are bloody awful monotone one word answers offers nothing. Needs more fire in the belly a serious work in progress imo
A bit like how the team is playing at the momentSorry but Fabian really needs to work on this. His pre and post match interviews are bloody awful monotone one word answers offers nothing. Needs more fire in the belly a serious work in progress imo
He's having to answer the same old ridiculous questions for a media interview I'm sure he'd rather not have to deal with, having just lost an important and intense fixture at the end of a very disappointing week." we will analyse things "
Yeah football isn't a Steven Spielberg movie where whatever happens everyone ends up fine and the viewer can be sentimental and happy." we will analyse things "
Were they really? Which one is your favorite? Here's some typical post-match De Zerbi interviews. Super powerful and entertaining.
Not that it matters. Unless you throw someone under the bus, no one is really going to give a shit what you say in these situations.
Yes, people remember that because its the single most edgy someone has said in family friendly Brighton & Hove Albio in the last 20 years or something.I liked the one where he talked about big balls, but I accept my memory might be faulty....
This season is practically over and he’s still making a pillock of himself. If anyone thought Glasner was worried yesterday by the tactical genius of Hurzeler they need help.We know what the process is. It's been in place a long time...since before FH got here.
He is a young man who has rather surprisingly been given a pretty big job in the biggest league in the world.
We have allowed him a season to cut his teeth..to learn...to experiment...to make mistakes. From August the honeymoon is over. Time to be a big boy and show your teeth. Next season he will be under a lot of pressure. It will define his future.
This. And someone please tell MoTD this too.the pre and post match press conferences and interviews are a complete waste of everyones time, all they are is to fill up air time. With two game on avarage every 7-10 days there at least 4 pressers, and 2-4 interviews every 10 days. All the questions are the same every week, no manager in his right mind is going to give anything meaningful away, and the only "news" would be about injuries, and even then most of the time its nothing new that we dont already know, and again, managers arent going to give out anything that may be useful to the next opponent
Interviewing players and managers when they have literally just finished playing-ofttimes while still on the pitch is crazy. Players asked daft questions and asked to analyse in minute detail events that happen in micro seconds and mainly done on instinct. most truthful answer i ever heard was a player when asked to talk us through the goal- simply said i dont know much about it, someone crossed the ball i didnt know who, i just saw it coming towards me , i kicked at it and luckily it went in
The only reason they do them is contractual, and all of them would rather be doing something useful instead. There is zero point in any of it
'Joe Bloggs has scored 10 goals in last 4 games, how important is he to the team ?'He's having to answer the same old ridiculous questions for a media interview I'm sure he'd rather not have to deal with, having just lost an important and intense fixture at the end of a very disappointing week.
That is not him talking to the players. He won't be telling them to go home and watch Match of the Day to find out what he thinks about their performances.
Where it matters is what we don't see - behind the closed door of the dressing room. He may be shit at that, or he may be brilliant or, perhaps, somewhere in between. We have no real way of knowing.
Whilst I'd certainly find it more interesting to have a witty raconteur delivering media interviews, it's neither here nor there.
