That was absolutely awful. But I don’t see how it is FH’s fault if Premier League footballers can’t score one of 10 clear cut chances in 90 minutes. That is absolutely on the players.

They are powerful stats, but why are the players missing chances?

How long are we going to give him? If we put in two equally poor performances against Brentford and West Ham (stats or no stats) surely we have to look at the manager.

Maybe they're not good enough - or do you think the manager is to blame?

I saw a stat this morning based on betting odds, that gave each game % of home win, draw or away win.

At 78% Brighton to win at home was the highest % chance according bookies and yet as you say, when I saw it, I honestly thought we'd likely f*** it up somehow.

Whenever a team is on a terrible run there's no better team to play than us.

We are incredibly easy to play against. Keep fast players up front and play the ball into them quickly.

All last week I knew and felt that this is going to happen, but I kept saying to myself "We can't be that poor, surely?". But yet again we have proven that we can be sh*t at any given time against even the worst teams.

I mean, i keep repeating this, but we couldn't even score from open play.... and we pretty much concede every single chance oppostion creates. How sh*t is that?

I get that the buck stops with the manager, but how much blame are you willing to apportion on players that spurn chance after chance in front of goal?
None? 50%? They are all fully capable of popping it between the sticks, yet individually failed to do so.
That's on them - aside from the penalty maestro.

The issue today isn’t the chances missed… it’s leaving us painfully open yet again and making it easy for the opposition to play against us.

And people can blame injuries, but the job of the manager is to adapt to the players you have and the opponent you’re facing…

I’m sorry guys, but anyone expecting 3 points today really hasn’t been paying attention for a while. As far as I’m concerned this was a point gained. From the BBC in midweek, “Brighton have won just 1.25 points per game in Premier League games against sides in the bottom three and have lost more (14) of these games than they have won (13)”

I’m on the fence with FH but as I’ve said several times, there are issues deeper than the manager that lead to results like this, as this is somewhat of a historic occurrence.

Get rid of FH and really we’re tossing a coin on whether we will improve or not.

Quite - the players we have (skilful as they are) need to hit the target more often...that's on them entirely, imo.

It’s not a freak result though is it. The exact same thing happened versus Ipswich and Southampton at home and Leicester away. So that’s at least four times this season. They can’t all be freak results.

A freak result is like us beating Wolves 6-0. Drawing 2-2 with a f***ing dog shit team that hasn’t scored for 100+ days is actually definitive Brighton. Coming off the back of losing to Palace. It’s in our blood.

Really disappointed about today, but if I’m honest with myself, I saw this coming… one thing was inevitable, Leicester would score which fed into my fear that we might monumentally blow it today… I’m relieved we got a point and we didn’t fall to a 3-2 deafeat, which would’ve been farcical given their recent form.

I’m beginning to form an opinion that FH is a coach of extremes, highs and really low lows… this is one of the latter, the early season defeat to Chelsea, Forest , Palace twice, Wolves… being other wonderful examples…

I think some of the highs have been fortunate too, which worries me all the more.

If he went I doubt I’d care, which worries me too… I’m just totally meh about him… meh meh meh.

Whilst derided in certain quarters, at times me included , Gary O’Reilly made a good point many years ago about players encountering a new manager for the first time, they look at the new boss, and effectively say to themselves “Will this bloke make me a better player?”

How many of this squad, both players he inherited and player he’s bought, has he improved?

I thinks it’s actually more than people would initially think.

Just like we hope that Minteh will learn how to kick the ball with his right foot, we have to let Fab learn too. I still think he's doing more right than wrong.

That’s the thing that didnt make sense in the appointment. A club spending millions on players and left in care of a rookie manager who’s level has been non league and league 1 lower championship at best quality.
All season run of the mill team goals have been hard to come by. Individual quality have been getting us results.
