Top moderating (as always) old fruit.

It's quite amusing how social media works.
How soon could careful manipulation trigger mass action?
Perhaps on NSC, which is largely populated by Old People, never.

But the absolute nodding doggery of much of the populace in the face of a determined spear waver always reminds me of this.

Yes! It's war!

What on earth is happening? Two very different post match comments. One from the manager and one from our most experienced (playing) player:

Fabian Hurzelar: "Finger pointing is not the solution."

Danny Welbeck: Welbeck alluded to a disconnect in his post-match interview, accusing his team-mates of not playing for one another.

"We made our bed and we have to lie in it. It's not good enough. There have been so many of these performances throughout the season. We need to play far more collectively. Fight for each other more. It was evident that we weren't doing that."

And who is that? McKenna? :ROFLMAO:
No idea but I trust that Tony Bloom will make the right decision at the right time. Don’t see him changing Hurzeler for the sake of it. RDZ’s implosion forced his hand last summer when it felt like there was a lack of strong, available candidates. Maybe it’ll be different this year.

It all comes down to expectations and people expecting improvement to be linear.....

When you have sold two world class central midfielders who were part of the RDZ side that got us into Europe, it becomes very difficult to replace them, to keep that improvement linear.

If expectations grow on the back of investing in new talent (emphasis on the word investing) and expecting that new talent to be as good, if not better, than what you have sold and you expect £200m to give you an immediate return, then you are not really understanding how the club is run.

Europe is an ambition not an expectation -'there is a big difference! The Club are not expecting progress to be linear - whether finishing in the top 10 (which is still possible) is as close to linear than finishing 14th, which may also have been an expectation if things don't go to plan. Whether that's acceptable is down to TB - regardless of the whining and moaning on here. Trust the TB/PB process - it's been working well, if FH is no longer part of that process, I'd respect/trust TB/PB's decisions, cos I ain't gonna change anything......

One things for sure, there will be a queue of candidates longer than the one for the trains post match - any number of whom must be better than Herr Process.

Only one of whom is worth listening to, not least because he will be here still next season!

So what Danny is saying is that after over 30 games of FH saying ‘togetherness guys’ we havent got togetherness.
Actions speak louder than words and that’s certainly not a dig at Danny.

Polite question. You haven't voted, and you say you have no idea. Why are you participating in this thread? This is not a personal criticism, but a general disappointment with Brighton fans who don't know how good their footballing life is.

It's not a good look that a player who has seen it and done it is calling it like it is while our rookie manager is saying 'guys don't point da fingers guys'. A bit like a child telling his/her parents not tp argue. I'd point the f***ing finger and say:
Bart - you are allowed to make a f***ing save and maybe even come and claim a cross
Pervis - you were f***ing shit. Oh and use your right foot you moron
Dunk - how do you want to be remembered?
JPVH - you were a red card waiting to happen but at least you care.
Minteh - learn to use your right foot. It's embarrassing and means we (and you) don't score as many goals
Baleba - you're better than that. You're misplaced passes are so so sloppy. Fulfill your potential
JP - if you go back to Marbella, we're fining you a weeks wage for every day you are there.

I'm Fab out end of season from the options.

That said, it's hard to judge. We've been very very good at times and absolutely pub at others. There's no "this is alright"

It's brilliant or f***ing awful. I've never known anything like it. He could be the next Pep or Jeff Hinshelwood for all I know.

Woah - maybe he is under threat then 😳
