I can't see past the next round yet.
Forest are going to give us a hell of a game and it is a real obstacal for us, having lost 7 -0 in our last meeting.
Need to exorcise that ghost.

I have one in the flat. I normally take it out for a walk each evening.

I predict that the F.A. Cup will continue to lose its prestige as the F.A. move all games to a Thursday and give guaranteed home advantage to previous winners.

Oh, and we will draw 1-1 with Forest then sneak through on pens.

Don't be put off posting on here, Chazza. NSC is great fun, but you just have to negociate it carefully sometimes. There are some unspeakably antagonistic, miserable old ****s who spout bile and drivel and will go out of their way to wind people up. There are also some decent old buggers who may come across as miserable and antagonistic, but it's just their way, they can't help it and they're too old and set in their ways to change. But most posters are just decent people who enjoy the conversation and mean no harm.

Well, its an early post but I'm looking forward to it(sod the international break). But, I'm also dreading it in equal measure. The lads have been fantastic since that 7 nil but Forest are the 3rd best team in the land. We've had a pretty tough draw so far in Chelsea Newcastle and now Forest (all top 6 sides in current table). You know Forest will be the darlings of the coverage on the day and the look where they have been, former European champions, 25 years of hurt, Nuno this Nuno that etc etc.. Fab will get his usual youngest manager and has done well carrying on the good work that Roberto left him blah blah blah!

Indeed. Absolutely THE worst thing about NSC is the way new posters are treated. For some reason it is almost automatically assumed that every new poster must be Palace, especially if they have the temerity to start a thread without touching their forelocks and introducing themselves. And if they are - so what? They might be decent types anyway like Loz or Mr Putdown.
