Obviously they will show:

West Ham v Man Utd
Leeds v Birmingham

There is some clause in the TV contract that says they MUST show the Man Utd and Leeds games

I would also think they'll show:
Spurs v Coventry
Lincoln City or Mansfield Town v Liverpool

For once its actually a Utd game worth showing in the third round.

Hope we are not on the box as I want to go and I am sick of non Saturday games

I'd say the Livepool game is nailed on to be a TV game.

Why is that a game worth showing?

IMO cup games between two teams in the same league are boring, until about the sixth round.

Utd v WHU is just another game that will happen in the Premier league twice this season anyway.

Not as dull as a lower league team either defending against a biggger team for 90 mins or getting slapped 6-0

If we're not on telly, and Crawley aren't on telly, are the police likely to want both games on Saturday, and if not,who gets the pesky Sunday kick off ?

Common sense would mean we play Saturday, Crawley on Sunday. That is fairest on the Toon fans who will travel the furthest.

I doubt it, our games have never really been affected by Crawley before, and they're only playing Reading, not anyone decent.

The lowest ranked side in the cup vs a team near the top of the championship? Would have thought it a certainty.

if the non-league side were at home, yes.

Not much chance of an upset away, so not likely/
