You on the train? Me and the boy will be on our way to Billericay with the mighty Haven, leave Bton about 11.15

I saw Lewes v Billericay last month , their fans are quite something. Also Billericay have an ex-Liecester striker who is very fat but very good at that level, who scored a brilliant free-kick

Not been on a coach for years. Can you still smoke in the back seats? :smokin:

Coach travel in the 70's you could throw fireworks out the windows squirt ketchup out the windows and light fires under the seat in front(if the occupant was sleeping) also alcohol and substance abuse was tolerated as long as the driver got a few pints in! Urinating out the emergency exit while moving was ok as long as someone held your shoulders, pretty much all these things are still ok just the cost of transport has gone up!

Come on Hill. I'm on the coach as well, usually go by train but fed up with them being packed all the time.
There's a great spirit amongst the players and i really do think they'll give the conference side a tough game.

used to be a Borstal at Portland, yeah it's a shame Weymouth's ground is out of town,it's a cracking place for a weekend

Dorchester copped Bristol Rovers, great draw for them

VO's or lodger :lolol:

Weymouth's ground is just outside of Weymouth & Portland, in West Dorset. Planning permission has just been granted for it's redevelopment for housing. Until fairly recently I was their planning consultant. I've also been a fan for over 30 years.

Planning permission has recently been refused for a new stadium in Lodmoor. The appeal and resubmitted planning application have yet to be determined and it's rumoured that alternative sites in Weymouth are being explored.

Historically Weymouth's main rivals have been Yeovil, but for obvious reasons this has dwindled and the rivalry with the Maggots (Dorchester's nickname being the Magpies) has increased. Over recent years the derbies have attracted crowds in excess of 4000.

Tomorrow Weymouth face Braintree as they also did at this stage of the FA Cup last season. There are high hopes of a better result this time around with the Terras on a very good run and Braintree struggling of late.
