Yep.
The league Cup is our only chance of silverware really. No reason we couldn't go far again in the FA Cup either, tougher to win though perhaps, but the League Cup is one we could target. Still bloody tough to get near the final though of course, but it pisses me off when we bin it off every year with team selections like that at villa this season. I guess survival in the Prem is the main aim of the game rather than actually trying to win something... Sigh

The Villa team selection was a joke. My son, who’s an eternal Albion optimist, cycled miles to the game and was stunned when he saw that Potter had effectively thrown away the tie. Wished he’d never gone to see experienced Villa pro’s out power and outclass us.

A wily older supporter, I had a feeling Potter would do that, so gave it a miss.

Is that even in question? Of course he does. GP is the right man for the club, he’s been a breath of fresh air.

I think anyone would have been after those last few months under Houghton

I'm definitely Potter in camp
But next season will be defining
whether he's the right man for the club

Wouldn't it be nice to see a Brighton captain at Wembley holding a Cup above his head

Especially a Brighton born one :albion2:

I'd be happy just to see a Brighton captain leading the team out for a final... Take that any day of the week over finishing 16th (although accept that not being in the Prem also makes it harder to go far in the cups, obviously)
