Can one of you Eastbourne lot help me out?

Does anyone know if the game has sold out or not?

If not can you just rock up and buy tickets on the day?

Ta.

You can get tickets today but only at the ground between 1.30 and 2.30. I'm guessing you can't just turn up. The number for the club is 01323 743561 And their website is :-

The best thing to come out of this thread is I can now spell Langney. IMHO Eastbourne is grottier and more violent than my beloved Hastings, I suspect you disagree which is fine

TGC I know you lived in Hastings so you will know like all towns there have areas percieved as either good areas and not so good areas.

Priory Lane may be a bungalow beauty spot but when I played at Langley Sports ground as it was then I do not think it was the people from the bungalow who wanted to fight us for not coming from Eastbourne.

Quality - you didn't learn how to spell it for too long! ;)

We will definitely have to agree to disagree. As someone who has lived in Eastbourne for 31 years and Hastings for 3, I know which one I prefer and which one I would feel more secure walking around at night. And it ain't Hastings.

Yeah - right bruiser, my nan!

When she was there, the vast majority of houses around there were occupied by older people. Think they were originally council houses and the original occupants just never moved.

most, if not all, have now been purchased by the occupants. can remember my mum and dad getting theirs for £13,000 which included the whole house being double glazed (early 70's?)

Can't wait for this game now. Heading down the Martello for openiong time then after a couple of (very) swifties, heading to the ground. Should be a brilliant atmosphere.

Martello! Be prepared for the place to go silent and everyone stare at you "Your not a regular". I got that that a couple of months back and i actually live about 1 mins walk way! Not my type of pub but a mate who moved away insisted we meet up for a drink there!

Anyone from the pub with any sense should post on an Oxford site and they would get record takings.
