Not Old trafford, I have been there before. the stewards are aggravation and generally I didn't like the place, although milling around the crowds outside was sort of encouraging.

Not sure, who I would like Is it possible to get home matches played at a neutral ground, like drawing Manchester United and playing at Stamford Bridge?

Worst draw would be Wigan away.

Farnborough however were allowed to move thier game against Arsenal to Highbury, as thier stadium was in such poor nick that they couldn't police it properly.

the Arsenal Chairman phoned up Farnborough and said play it at Highbury, Farnborough agreed as they would/did get shitloads more money out of it. They used the Policing as an excuse hence the uproar at the time as to why they were allowed to swap venues.

makes sense though! as that was probably more money than the club has ever seen! probably still surviving on the cash and the players got a chance to play at highbury!

I read that the police thought so many Arsenal fans would try and bunk in that it wasn't safe. Cherry Tree Road is hardly the most secure ground is it?

thats because they did'nt wanna do it, its been well documented that Arsenal pretty much told/pursuaded Farnborough to play at Highbury forcing the FA to afferwards state that it wont happen again unless its blatantly obvious (i.e. Southwick v Arsenal for example)

Alas this is all a pipe dream. As usual we will get a non discript club such as Rochdale (no offence guys) away and get beat. It always happens. Anyone remember Lincoln away!!!! Every year I dream of being able to go to Highbury, Stamford Bridge etc to watch Brighton, but every year the team are crap whether it be the Third round or the First round :-(. We never seem to get to the Fourth or Second rounds.

What about the Carling cup?
We played 3 'non-descript' teams last year, then got Chelsea at home?

I don't know how much money that produced, but it certainly wasn't to be sniffed at.

eerr...we're out?! :D

Any home game would be a disaster. We lose money on home games as it is without having to give half of it away. A home game with Chelsea would be even worse with all the additional Police we'd have to pay for.

Anyone away with a crowd of over 15,000 would be a nice bonus. Bury earned £600,000 for an away game with Manchester United a few years ago so it'd probably be worth around £700K now.

Any of the big clubs away will be great. We al know our chances of winning the cup are slim to none so we might as well go out to a big team making some cash out of it.

I think I read recently that Millwall lost money last season, even with their cup run. Mind you, they didn't play anyonedecent until the final, no premier teams, so maybe they avoided some big pay days.
I would certainly settle for City or Utd away. I tell you, we could surprise either of them at the moment!!! SEAGUUUUULLS

Yeah they lost £4 million because they were paying players bonuses that they could not afford. Muppets :nono:
