Thrilling action from the 1983 FA Cup final.
The pair's original 2-2 draw was followed by this replay, played just four days later.

I'm really glad some of the current Albion fanbase weren't around in 1983: "1st division survival's more important, I don't care about the FA Cup, I hope we lose to Newcastle / Man City / Liverpool / Norwich / Sheff Wed."

I wouldn't have swapped that cup run, especially that semi-final day against Sheff Wed, for anything. We'd have gone relegated from the top division sooner rather than later anyway, even if we had adopted the "lets concentrate on the league, I'd rather get three points against Stoke than beat Liverpool at Anfield" mentality in 1982/3.

Its about 2 mins of the first game and an hour or so of their lucky replay.

Exactly - but that was in the days when a trip to Wembley really meant something. Now half the teams in the entire league have been there.
