If they could make Monaco qualifying only but still give points then it would be worth keeping on the calendar.

The race is always awful unless there's rain, and the new rules create situations like we had today where teams will back up the pack to create pit stop gaps.

Boring race was boring... 2 stop rule (or, rather, 3 tyre sets rule) did create some strategy games, but it certainly didn't improve the racing.

Well done to Norris, WDC fight is now 3 points between Piastri and Norris and Verstappen just will not go away back there in third just 25 points behind despite the RBR being a stinker.

Spain next, and it could see a bit of a change in the pace order. There's new legality tests coming for ensuring that front wings don't flex too much. Teams have known since the start of the year. Red Bull have been adamant that their car won't be affected, and therefore expect other teams to lose pace relative to them (the implication being that McLaren's front wing may need to be modified to pass the new tests and therefore cost them performance).

Fantastically entertaining race, made better by the safety car and the pasta gun stylee tyre change from RB.

What a petulant child Max is. 10 seconds is ridiculous.

Should have been a DQ
Sadly they’ll bottle it I think. He really is a spoilt, entitled brat, but what do you expect when you have a father like Jos and a team like RB enabling you. Such a shame that until the last couple of seasons he’s had such a good car, as this would have happened repeatedly and he’d have nowhere near the world titles he has.

Wasn’t it Russell who clipped Max when he was blaming Le Clerc before the red mist came down on Max? Surprised that Russell wasn’t investigated as well

Max got 3 penalty points as well. That means he's now just 1 point away from an automatic race ban. He'll be treading the penalty points tightrope for much of the rest of the season.

TBH, Jos wasn't all that as a driver. Apart from him being covered in 4* I don't remember him doing too much
