I can JUST ABOUT accept that the FA didn't want to take the blame for appointing another man who wasn't English.

But to appoint someone who was Svens assistant, (and therefore probably had a fair influence on the previous team anyway) and who has done bugger all as a MANAGER (except for 2 heroic comebacks) was ridiculous.

:censored:

I have to remind you though, that the FA did try awfully hard to appoint a manager who wasn't English....could barely even say anymore more than "leave me alone I don't even want the job" in our language.
It was in the face of the ruddy-faced McClaren that they showed they didn't really even think that much of him, and that any old plonker would do even if he was a tribesman who's only words would be "umgowa", but Stevie-boy was the last resort and he was probably a cheaper option.

The state of English football.

Nail on the head. The future is bleak with this clown. We can only hope that the NOTW are at this moment preparing the fake sheikh to catch the red faced ginger buffoon in some sort of compromising situation.

I see his Middlesborough tactic of 'oh shit I have f***ed this up tactically again better throw on 3 strikers to save my bacon' popped up again tonight.

Difference is this is an International not the Carling Cup of Europe!!

McClaren is nowhere near the level required to manage the national team. Its just a shame some of the top class managers in the Premiership are too sensible to be interested in the job.

I can't help but think that that tactic was what got him the job in the first place.

We're that desperate.

See how abusive i get after a few:drink: - ordinarily i would have told McClaren (how do you spell his name anyway?) to piss off, and described England as 'pony'.

its sad but true, but i actually think this is all quite funny.

fact. mcclaren is a complete twat, should never of got the job, got it by default, is guilty by association due to having conversations with the other inept @*&@ sven (who is still raping the FA for thousands) about team selections and will drag this squad of players down to a level not yet seen (in my opinion).

as far as i am concerned this completely validates my one man protest of refusing to watch an england game from start to finish, until the twat has gone. now f*** off so i can start enjoying watching england again.

as far as a replacement - FA, GET YOUR f***ing CHEQUE BOOKS OUT AND GET O'NEIL!!!!

McClaren is shit and should never have got the job but all this talk about O'Neil is bollocks. Villa are not exactly setting the world alight and Gordon Strachen (sp?) is doing exactly the same as O'Neil did at Celtic.

The man we should have got and would have come should have been Hiddink, now I think we should ask Wenger to come on a part time basis and get us out of this mess

Simple truth is that when McClaren was appointed, the FA weren't even slightly interested in appointing the best manager.

All they were concerned with was appointing an English manager, as if that would make all of the problems suffered under that nasty Swedish man better over-night.

He said after the game that we created loads of chances....erm......

Which ones were those..

For all those who say beckham is past it and shouldnt play for england again....its all crap. We have missee bEckham every game since the WC and mclaren is too f***ing stubborn to admit it

I know he is injured at the moment...but once he is fit he has to play

And just what was he thinking in bringing on a defender for a defender when we needed to win?

It's alll very well coming out with all this 'we can afford nothing less than a win' bullshit in the papers, but at least fight till the last and try and save your job, instead of taking the easy option and sticking with a point.

Its not just about McClaren though is it. The players are total shit. What manager would want to take that lot on. Overpaid overhyped wankers. Rooney the new Pele :lolol:

Good, and to complete the set do you have another league team that you can attach yourself to?
