The lot of yer.

It amazes me how so many people can boo the team off the pitch at the end of the game.

Yes we played shit and deserved to get beat but spare a thought for the players. Under Coppell they were settled into a style of play that they were happy with and they seemed to enjoy playing for Coppell. You could say he was the heart of the team, orchestrating from the touchline.

That heart has now been ripped out and the team are out of control, they seem lost and i don't blame them.

They don't have a manager or a stadium to play in but have managed to start off the season well and we remain TOP of the table.

Give em a break.

BTW Why would nobody sing second half eh?

Too busy f***ing moaning that's why.

ps Sorry jbl for having a go mate. You thief.

Its pretty difficult to sing and go through the usual chants when the team is getting battered and playing absolute toss.

I thought they deserved to be booed off because not one of them barring Knight, Cullip and Butters did anything of note last night. Im all for clapping a defeat if they try their hardest and give it everything, Pompey, Walsall, Watford and plenty of others last season.

BUT

that was a disgrace and if theyr gonna take the plaudits when they win eg Rushden, they have to be ready for the reverse side too

I would never boo off the team. What is it going to do to their confidence.

I shouted (and screamed) throughout the match egging them on. Come on Brighton! You can do it! and such like.

Must remember not to swear. Two guys in front of me turned round and told me off (in a jokey way).

I've never been the only person singing that many times in a game before.

Even if the singing is just to show the 'sing when you're winning' Brentford fans how to do it proper you get me?

I didnt even hang around till the end it was just to painful, heard the 4th go in on the way back to the station.

If I had of been there I would have probably booed becasue in my opinion 8 of the players on the pitch were nothing short of a disgrace to the shirt.

Not to boo them - or not to expect others to - after a "performance" like that is just plain wrong.

They were shite and deserve be told it - the team cannot expect anything else. We pay good money to watch a team play last night and, almost without exception, they couldn't be arsed. This isn't the Great Escape season or Gillingham any more, where every goal scored counted towards the club's existence and the many abysmal performances could be written off as to be expected amidst all the chaos.

Everyone who pays someone's wages has the right to tell them what they think of their efforts and last night, they were shit.

Dunno why I care: I'd left by the final whistle anyway along with about 2000 others.

I stayed to the end - you could see how down the players looked (and rightly so).

I must confess to not being a song starter(unless I get a few beers in), but more than keen to belt out a tune with those around me - I was on the left of the terrace and at times the silence was deafening.

The boo boys pissed me off - some guy behind me was giving Mayo all sorts of sh!t - had pleasure in accidentally knocking him flying when the FDM saved that penalty!

NO WAY!!!

At palace we were singing "6-5 were gonna win 6-5"

We have a problem with confidence - and booing will not help. You Booers should be ashamed!

Support the team.

I didn't boo, but i didn't clap. I only clap if the players had put in an effort, and were unlucky to lose... last night there was no effort, they deserved the booing they got IMO.

I found myself using the C word a scaringly large amount last night. Almost completely aimed at the referee, for being a ****.

Oh and chappers for beating me at pool

When it boils down to it though, we've played really badly and lost two games in a row but we're still top of the league and a couple of wins now will put us clear again I would imagine.

last night we were clueless but the players did try just didn't really pay off.

I don't mind us losing or even playing a bit crap, but two dreadful performances in four days having travelled about 650 miles to watch the lads look as if they had been out on the piss the night before is a bit much.

As MoH said, it isn't a case any more that we don't pay them much and they know we're in the shit etc. The club is run as a going concern and the players are paid a decent wage for the division they are in.

If I suddenly started turning up for work and did stupid things then looked like I didn't really give a toss, or had clearly forgotton how to do the simplest things that I need to do I would expect to be told about it pretty quickly.

I don't agree with booing the lads when a long unbeaten run comes to an end etc, but two dire performances in four days is pushing it a bit.

You would have though they woould want to make up for Saturday. This is even having shades of the Jeff Wood era where players just take the piss because Bob Booker was/is their mate rather than the gaffer.

Defeat on Saturday will not be greeted well.

I didn't boo them off at the end (yes, I was one of the stayers) but I didn't applaud them at the end either because with only one or two trying they frankly didn't deserve applause. The fans who gave up their time to get that f***ing shithole that is Brentford deserved the applause-even the boobirds.

As for Cullip going to Reddung to rejoin Coppout-best he goes now then is all I can say. I can see FDM chinning him before long too-they don't seem to get on these days and out of the two I'd rather keep MK. Charlie Oatway is probably the most important member of the playing staff, maybe not for his on-field exploits but definitely for the team spirit at the club whereas DC is always looking to blame others. Like I said, if he's thinking of, or wanting to leave...best he goes now while we'll still get some cash for him.

No they don't. So if you do something wrong at work, do you expect every one of your colleagues to tell you your a twat? I personally wouldn't want that.

They KNOW they played crap. Booing players off does nothing to their confidence.

All those people who boo btw, would you go up to Cullip and tell him he was crap and you booed him?

Spooky!!!!

I was doing that a lot too-fortunately I was right at the front and he came within earshot a couple of times. Probably not a clever thing to do but it made me feel better.

And you're right in your description of him-**** is the only word that aptly describes him. Sorry for offending the ladies and bints for use of the word btw.

Not only did I boo them off for an absolutely disgraceful shambolic appearance (won't call it a performance) but I also told Cullip very loudly they were rubbish and should get the @@@@ off when he came to apllaud us.

I'm sorry but I expect some effort and last night was unacceptable:censored: :censored: :censored:
